Selecting you Builder

Build Site Review

The first step in bringing your dream home to life is gathering your ideas, inspiration, and must-haves for your future home. Maybe you have a vision board, saved photos, floor plans you love, or simply ideas you’ve been thinking about for years.

At this stage, you may already have a budget in mind or have been pre-approved for construction financing, and if so, that’s great. If not, no problem. We can walk through budget expectations, financing options, and answer any questions during our initial meeting.

Our team at Arvola Builders would love to sit down and hear your vision for your new home. During our initial meeting, we’ll walk you through our building process, discuss your goals, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

If you feel we’re the right fit to build your home, the next step is signing our Pre-Construction Agreement. This allows us to dedicate the time needed to develop a detailed plan tailored to your vision. From there, we move into the design phase, where your ideas begin taking shape through floor plans, selections, and a clearer picture of your future home.

You’ll work closely with our team to bring your home design to life. You can start with one of our existing floor plans or bring your own ideas and inspiration as a starting point. We’ll take your needs, lifestyle, and wishlist into account while designing a home that fits your vision and makes the most of your lot.

Designing your Home

Our team will meet you at your build site to review important details and ensure your home is positioned for long-term success. During this visit, we’ll go over:

• Topography and overall site conditions

• Ideal house placement on the lot

• Trees or landscape features you’d like to preserve

• Lot shape, zoning requirements, easements, setbacks, and building restrictions

• Utility access and any other site-specific considerations

This step helps us make sure your home is designed to fit both your vision and your property.

You’ll meet with our team to review the specifications and overall vision for your home. Based on your floor plan, desired features, and finishes, we’ll put together a preliminary estimate so you have a clear understanding of the investment before moving forward.

This estimate will include your floor plan, and outlined specifications. If everything looks good and you’re ready to move ahead, the next step is signing the construction agreement and preparing to start your home build.

One of the most exciting parts of building your home is bringing your personal style into the design process. Cody on our team will help guide you through your selections and make the process feel simple and enjoyable as your home starts to come to life.

You’ll meet with our trusted vendors to select finishes and design details that fit your style, budget, and vision. Cody will help walk you through each step and ensure everything flows well together throughout your home.

This phase is where your house truly begins to feel like your home.
